Paul John Barbieri (21 November 1958 – 11 April 2019), known professionally as Ian Cognito, was an English stand-up comedian. He won the Time Out Award for Stand-up Comedy in 1999. Cognito had an aggressive stage persona and a reputation as Britain’s "most banned" comic. Nevertheless, he was widely rated as a masterful performer with an innate grasp of stagecraft, inviting comparisons to iconoclasts like Lenny Bruce, Bill Hicks, and Jerry Sadowitz.
Peter Baynham is a Welsh screenwriter, stand-up comedian and performer. His writing work includes collaborations with comedy figures such as Armando Iannucci, Steve Coogan, Chris Morris, Sacha Baron Cohen and Sarah Smith.

John Richard Hegley is an English performance poet, comedian, radio broadcaster, musician and songwriter. He is known for his frequent appearances at literary festivals, and for his wry and surreal humour, mostly performance-orientated or aimed at younger audiences, and often sung or accompanied by music he plays; his material incorporates "a mix of anecdotes, jokes, idiosyncratic observations, confessions and surreal narratives".
